    Job Title: Tig Welder

    Job Description

    This is a contract-to-hire TIG welding position paying $20-24/hr on 2nd shift. The hours are 3 pm - 11 pm.

    Responsibilities

    + Set-up and operate TIG welder, including purging and regulating current and voltage. Select appropriate filler rod type and size.

    + Set-up and operate an orbital welder.

    + Work in accordance with detailed drawings and instructions.

    + Lift and carry parts of various sizes, shapes, and weights, with a maximum of 50 lbs.

    + Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned to support the overall organization and participate in continuous quality improvement processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in TIG/MIG welding and blueprint reading.

    + Around 2 years of experience in TIG/MIG welding.

    + Experience with quality inspection, welding, stainless steel, assembly, and use of hand tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + ASME Certified with five years of work-related experience.

    + Strong integrity, excellence, and respectful relationships.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
