Job Title: Installation Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician with expertise in vocational trucks through assembly, hydraulic 12v electric systems, and fabrication. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to interpret blueprints, diagrams, and instructions while adhering to established standards.
Responsibilities
+ Assemble and install vocational trucks following blueprints, diagrams, and instructions.
+ Attend pre-install meetings to ensure project alignment.
+ Accurately read and utilize measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, and squares.
+ Perform hose and fitting assembly, routing, and plumbing including pressure setting and testing.
+ Interpret and work with hydraulic and electric schematics for 12v electrical systems.
+ Conduct wire harness assembly, routing, and terminating, along with system setup and testing.
+ Perform minor welding and fabrication tasks, welding in various positions and cleaning weld spatter.
+ Utilize power tools such as drills, impact wrenches, air ratchets, grinders, and iron workers.
+ Track time using the system provided.
+ Recommend procedural changes or job function improvements that benefit the team.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in field service of heavy equipment.
+ Proficiency in heavy equipment, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
+ Ability to interpret and work with blueprints and wiring diagrams.
+ Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics and 12v electrical systems.
+ Competency in basic welding and fabrication, including the use of a plasma cutter and oxygen/acetylene torch.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Technical college degree or structured on-the-job training program.
+ Knowledge of wiring stop/start systems and ability to use programmer.
+ Understanding of sizes of fittings and hydraulic hoses.
+ Ability to operate saws for cutting steel.
+ Basic math skills and ability to adjust pressures and reliefs.

Work Environment
This role requires working from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. The work environment involves exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, various weather conditions, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and loud noises. Employees must be able to perform physical tasks such as sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and frequently lifting up to 50 pounds. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $72800.00/yr.
