    Working with a Concrete Solutions company in the Orlando, FL area that is seeking qualified Diesel/Heavy Equipment Mechanics for 1st Shift!

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and inspections on cement and ready-mix trucks, as well as other heavy equipment such as forklifts, loaders, and lifts at our plant. The role involves DOT repair, replacement, and rebuilding of engine repairs.

    Responsibilities

    + Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections on cement/ready-mix trucks and other heavy equipment.

    + Perform DOT repairs, replacements, and rebuild engine repairs.

    + Troubleshoot mechanical issues and ensure efficient engine maintenance.

    + Overhaul engines and work on hydraulic systems.

    + Write and document DOT reports and ensure compliance.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of diesel engine experience.

    + Proficiency in engine repair and overhaul.

    + Experience with hydraulic systems.

    + Capability to troubleshoot and perform mechanical maintenance.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Preferred experience in heavy equipment repair.

    + Familiarity with DOT documentation and reporting.

    + Experience working on Cummings Trucks is heavily preferred.

    + Experience with cement trucks is ideal.

     

    Schedule

     

    1st Shift, 6:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday.

     

    ***Must be open to Overtime

     

    Pay

     

    $25-32 hr. Depending on experience.
