    Job Title: Tool Clerk

    Job Description

    As a 1st shift Tool Clerk, you will be responsible for organizing the tool crib, managing inventory levels, and ordering and updating the stock of spare parts. You will handle tooling orders for maintenance, production, or prototype purposes and ensure cost savings. Additionally, you will run necessary reports, update BPCS systems, and manage labels. You will scan packing slips into the SharePoint site and organize p-card statements. Revising work instructions and procedures as needed is also part of the role. You may be required to travel to other plants and customer sites.

    Responsibilities

    + Organize the tool crib and manage inventory levels.

    + Order and update spare parts stock.

    + Handle tooling orders for maintenance, production, and prototypes.

    + Ensure cost savings on orders.

    + Run reports and update BPCS systems.

    + Scan packing slips and manage SharePoint site.

    + Submit and organize p-card statements.

    + Revise work instructions and procedures as needed.

    + Travel to other plants and customer sites as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with cost analysis.

    + Experience in customer service.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    + Valid driver's license and transportation.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Forklift experience.

    The position is based in a temperature-controlled, very clean, and well-lit environment. You will spend the majority of the day in the maintenance area.

    This is a Contract position based out of Ligonier, Indiana.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
