Job Title: Field Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Field Technician to join our team, servicing various locations including Greenville, Wilson, Kinston, Wilmington, Moorehead, Beaufort, Goldsboro, and areas east of 95. The role involves a 6am-2pm shift, focusing primarily on installing power adapters to existing CO2 sensors at customer sites. You will also be responsible for the installation, repair, preventative services, and troubleshooting of liquid bulk CO2 tanks and beverage gas systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met safely, courteously, and promptly.

Responsibilities

+ Follow all company safety and operational policies, procedures, and directives from the Supervisor.

+ Maintain telephone communication with the supervisor and/or dispatch to communicate timely estimated times of arrival and completion of tasks.

+ Perform installations of CO2 gas detection systems and associated cabling.

+ Test and troubleshoot network communication issues.

+ Conduct thorough inspections of cable lines to ensure the system is functioning correctly.

+ Pull, route, or label CAT5 or CAT6 cables.

+ Use a ladder where necessary to run cabling.

+ Install 4-8 power adapters and 2 monitors per day.

+ Verify current inventory levels against the install schedule and communicate deficiencies with the supervisor.

+ Maintain proper operation of all equipment, tools, and ladders.

+ Maintain sufficient inventory levels of all parts.

+ Provide daily communication to the assigned supervisor.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kinston, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
