Job Title: STAND UP Forklift- 2nd shift
Job Description
Join an international, family-owned precision metal manufacturing company as a Material Handler. This role is essential for line-side delivery and pick-up, maintaining truck wells, organizing pallets, and handling scrap and cardboard waste. The position is fast-paced and requires availability throughout the shift to support the production floor effectively. You will be responsible for controlling stock movement from warehouse locations to the production floor and ensuring finished goods are in their proper location, along with maintaining customer containers to and from the production line.
Responsibilities
+ Support production, accounting for 50% of the role.
+ Organize inventory, which constitutes 30% of the responsibilities.
+ Perform miscellaneous duties, making up the remaining 20%.

+ Stand-up forklift operation
+ Warehouse experience
+ Shipping and receiving
+ Inventory management
+ RF scanner usage
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience is required.
+ Experience with stand-up electric forklifts is preferred.
+ Possession of a chauffeur's license is a plus.

Work Environment
Located at the 1201 Building, the work environment includes automated tube benders, welding machines, material handling robots, and conveyors. The fast-paced setting involves manufacturing metal exhaust systems for automotive manufacturers, focusing on tube bending and assembly. The facility is clean, although some areas may be consistently loud due to machinery. Compliance with PPE and safety requirements is mandatory, including wearing steel-toe shoes at all times. Safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection are provided. The role operates on the 2nd shift from 4pm to 2am, Monday through Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troy, Michigan.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
