    Job Title: Picker and Packer

    Job Description

    As a Production Utility specialist, you will manage customer orders by preparing and packaging parts according to specifications. You will utilize SAP, our inventory management system, to prepare shipments and organize parts from assembly into warehouse aisles. This role involves lifting between 20-50 lbs throughout the day and requires standing for 10-12 hours. Training on forklift operations may be provided.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist with general shipping duties, including tape removal, unit preparation, and weighing/packing of various products.

    + Prepare SAP shipments and assist in the paint/prep area.

    + Unloading incoming parts and placing products within inventory.

    + Pull parts from inventory in preparation for gearbox and motor assembly.

    + Perform various shop-floater duties related to production expansion or operations, receiving, and inventory.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of industrial experience in warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, shipping, or operations.

    + Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate the internet and use RF scanners.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in prepping items for shipment.

    + Previous experience working within a shipping department.

    Work Environment

     

    The work environment includes receiving, shipping, inventory/racking, and machine operation areas, requiring flexibility in job roles. This newly expanded facility is clean and features a new automated paint line system. Smoking is prohibited onsite. The culture emphasizes teamwork and independent work across departments. Steel-toe shoes and safety glasses are mandatory, and attire should be free of holes or tears.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.12 - $20.12/hr.
