Job Title: Class A Driver

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver with a manual transmission endorsement to join our team in Minneapolis. This is a full-time position with consistent hours and a variety of driving responsibilities. While the primary need is for a roll-off truck driver, flexibility is key as you may operate different types of trucks depending on daily needs.

Responsibilities

+ Safely operate various types of trucks to complete assigned routes.

+ Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

+ Load and unload materials as needed to support operational needs.

+ Maintain accurate logs and documentation for inspections and safety compliance.

+ Follow all DOT and company safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Essential Skills

+ CDL Class A License with manual transmission endorsement.

+ Proficient in safe driving practices.

+ Ability to perform vehicle inspection and maintenance.

+ Strong time management and route efficiency skills.

+ Physical stamina and strength to lift 50+ lbs and climb in and out of trucks.

+ Adaptability and comfort with operating various truck types.

+ Basic mechanical knowledge.

+ Attention to detail for logs, inspections, and safety compliance.

+ Team-oriented attitude.

Work Environment

You will be working in a large shop servicing company trucks used to deliver various sheet metal to local and border states. The environment is dynamic and requires adaptability to varying tasks and truck types.

This is a Permanent position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $62000.00/yr.
