Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
The role involves utilizing production equipment to fabricate doors and working efficiently on an assembly line. Candidates should be prepared to stand for up to 8-10 hours per day and work flexible hours as required. The position also requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
+ Operate small and large machines in the production of doors.
+ Work on the door assembly line to build doors.
+ Inspect all products for quality assurance.
+ Perform machining tasks for hardware installation on doors.
+ Prepare and handle materials efficiently.
+ Stage and package finished products for delivery.
+ Carry out other general warehouse duties as needed.
+ Maintain a clean and orderly work area and adhere to prescribed safety rules.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in production, general labor, assembly, and manufacturing.
+ Attention to detail.
+ Knowledge of general production processes.
+ Competency in machine operation.
+ Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.).
+ Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
+ General knowledge of building materials.
+ Ability to perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools.
Work Environment
The work environment is a fast-paced manufacturing setting where employees will utilize various technologies and equipment. Workers are expected to adhere to a safety-conscious dress code and maintain cleanliness and order in their work areas. Shifts may vary, offering flexibility in working hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stayton, Oregon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.93 - $21.93/hr.
