Job Title: Associate Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Associate Maintenance Technician with a foundational understanding of industrial automation and manufacturing technologies. This role requires basic knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, vision systems, and similar equipment. You will be responsible for installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment, including sensors and switches.

Responsibilities

+ Read and interpret blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, mechanical/electrical diagrams, and technical orders.

+ Connect wiring to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment.

+ Replace switches and fuses, and splice wires as necessary.

+ Perform repair or replacement of belts, chains, or cables on machinery.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and HMIs.

+ Install and maintain electrical equipment, including sensors, switches, and motors.

Essential Skills

+ Troubleshooting and maintenance expertise in industrial settings.

+ Basic understanding of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, robotics, vision systems, and other industrial automation equipment.

+ Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and schematics.

+ Experience with electrical installations and repairs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Automation, Engineering Technology, Advanced Manufacturing, Manufacturing Technology, or related field.

+ Industrial Maintenance Diploma, Journeyman Card, or Industrial Maintenance Certificate Program completion.

Work Environment

The work environment is a brand-new, state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility. The plant operates 24/7 on a 3-2-2 schedule with 12-hour shifts. The facility is clean and climate-controlled, providing a comfortable and modern workplace for all employees.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Glendale, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
