Job Title: Phlebotomist - Tooele
Job Description
Join a dynamic patient service center as a Phlebotomist, where you will perform blood draws on site for a facility that serves approximately 100-150 patients daily. You must be adept at handling 30-40 draws per day independently, along with data entry, specimen processing, and preparing labs for shipment. The role offers a full menu of testing and requires rotation between front desk duties, patient service, and other testing responsibilities. We are looking for proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented candidates eager for growth.
Responsibilities
+ Perform blood draws independently, handling 30-40 draws per day.
+ Conduct data entry and specimen processing tasks.
+ Prepare labs for shipment.
+ Administer a full menu of testing.
+ Rotate between front desk duties, patient service, and other testing responsibilities.
Essential Skills
+ 6 months of clinical phlebotomy experience required.
+ Phlebotomy skills including blood draw and venipuncture.
+ Graduate of a phlebotomy school or program preferred.
+ Hospital or outpatient lab experience strongly preferred.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Phlebotomy certification preferred.
+ Knowledge of testing menu preferred.
+ Plasma experience must be complemented by traditional phlebotomy experience.
Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM. Dress code requires scrubs and closed-toe shoes, and lab coats will be provided. The position is situated in a thriving national outpatient setting that offers long-term opportunities for gaining experience.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
