    Job Title: Document Control SpecialistJob Description

     

    We are seeking a strong CAD professional to assist in the implementation of a Product Data Management (PDM) system and establish standards for prints and documents. This individual will work closely with the engineering team and report to the Process Engineering Manager. The role involves setting up the PDM system and creating standards for documentation. Additionally, the position requires working with 3D files to identify part origins, clean up parts and models predictably, and potentially configure parts.

    Responsibilities

    + Implement and set up a PDM system.

    + Establish and maintain standards for prints and documents.

    + Collaborate with the engineering team to streamline documentation processes.

    + Work with 3D files to identify part origins and ensure model accuracy.

    + Clean up and configure parts and models as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of Document Control experience.

    + 3+ years of SolidWorks experience.

    + Proficiency in working with 3D models.

    + Experience with PDM systems and CAD software.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Detailing and drafting experience.

    + Strong data entry and document management skills.

    Work Environment

    This position is primarily desk-based, with occasional opportunities to visit the production floor. The role offers a stable working environment within a growing company where business is consistently strong.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr.
