Job Title: Superintendent of Construction

Job Description

+ We are seeking a highly experienced Construction Superintendent with 5-10 years of expertise in overseeing renovations on large-scale projects.

+ This role involves managing a $30M-$35M interior renovation project at a preexisting medical campus, with a timeline of 12-18 months.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee all phases of the interior renovation project, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.

+ Manage subcontractors, vendors, and laborers to optimize efficiency and maintain high-quality standards.

+ Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, safety protocols, and local building codes.

+ Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to address design challenges and workflow adjustments.

+ Develop and maintain construction schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays or issues.

+ Lead and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting regular site safety meetings and inspections.

+ Ensure proper documentation of all project activities, including daily reports, RFI responses, change orders, and material approvals.

+ Foster communication and collaboration with college administrators to minimize disruptions to campus operations.

+ Troubleshoot construction-related issues and implement solutions to keep the project moving forward.

Essential Skills

+ Construction management

+ OSHA 30 certification

+ General contractor experience

+ Construction supervision

+ Quality control

+ Proficiency in Procore

+ Experience in renovations

Work Environment

+ This position is based on-site at the medical campus, requiring regular interaction with subcontractors, vendors, and campus administrators.

+ The role demands adherence to safety protocols and efficient management of project timelines and resources.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
