    Overview

     

    We are seeking an experienced machine operator/production worker to join our team on the 3rd shift. In this position, you will act as the Stacker Operator - this position is responsible for the operation of the part of the corrugator that forms loads of sheets after the paper has been combined, slit, scored, and cut to length.     Responsibilities

    + Monitor the automatic functions of the stacker and make manual adjustments when necessary.

    + Place tags in each load to identify the product.

    + Place bottom sheets and tie sheets in the loads to protect and stabilize the product.

    + Perform quality inspections such as board quality, sheet, score dimensions, and board caliper.

    + Record inspection results on the Factory Job Ticket and maintain SPC Charts for caliper readings.

    + Communicate with crew members to make adjustments when nonconforming product is identified.

    + Read work orders or follow oral instructions.

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years machine operating/production experience.

    + Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    + Ability to read and comprehend simple English instructions.

    + Ability to add, subtract, and read measuring equipment.

    + Basic computer skills to input production information in the system.

    + Knowledge of corrugated, machine operation, industrial, and packaging is a plus.

    + Ability to perform heavy lifting.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.53 - $22.53/hr.
