Job Title: Field Service Technician
Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Field Service Technician, where you will play a pivotal role in the installation, testing, and commissioning of vision, camera, and scanning systems for high-speed automation systems at various sites. This position requires you to support on-site system installation, start-up, debug, and commissioning, as well as provide remote support to troubleshoot system process problems. You will also be responsible for creating training and system documentation, participating in formal training programs, and accurately tracking and reporting all time and expenses.
Responsibilities
+ Install, test, and commission vision, camera, and scanning systems for high-speed automation systems.
+ Perform installation and base-level commissioning of new automation systems.
+ Support on-site system installation, start-up, debug, and commissioning.
+ Create training and system documentation as needed.
+ Provide remote support to troubleshoot system process problems.
+ Complete formal training programs to enhance knowledge of specific systems.
+ Provide daily reports summarizing completed work and outlining remaining tasks.
+ Track and report all time spent and expenses incurred for work performed.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Preferred two-year technical degree.
+ Previous field service tech role experience is preferred.
+ At least three years of related experience is preferred.
+ Experience with automated vision systems is preferred.
+ Previous experience with mechanical and electrical systems is a plus.

Work Environment
Expect to travel 80% of the time, primarily working on-site at client locations with packaging and conveyors, such as mail service companies. Trips generally run Monday to Friday, with some weekend work as needed. When not traveling, you'll work in a climate-controlled, clean warehouse with large automation and robotics.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $57200.00 - $104000.00/yr.
