Job Title: Electro-Mechanical Assembler-

Job Description

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for soldering components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) and performing SMT and Thru-hole soldering, as well as mechanical assembly of boards. You will be working on multi-layer boards that start at 45-50 lbs and increase in weight through the assembly process. The job involves reworking the boards on both the top and bottom, requiring the ability to turn and lift them. Periodic use of a microscope and soldering wires is also part of the role.

Responsibilities

+ Solder components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs).

+ Perform SMT and Thru-hole soldering.

+ Conduct mechanical assembly of boards.

+ Rework boards on both the top and bottom.

+ Use a microscope periodically throughout the day.

+ Solder wires of various gauges.

Essential Skills

+ 6+ months of soldering experience on circuit boards.

+ Proficiency in Thru-hole and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering.

+ Knowledge of IPC-610/J standard, current or expired.

+ Ability to understand visual aids and wiring lists.

+ Capability to lift 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Vocational program experience is considered.

+ Experience with electromechanical assembly is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment with a team size of 50 people. Each assembler has their own workbench equipped with necessary tools. We offer two shifts: 1st shift from 6:30 am to 3 pm and 2nd shift from 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
