Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

The Production Associate plays a crucial role in manufacturing small metal parts for Toyota vehicles, utilizing large stamping presses, small machine welding stations, and production lines. This position requires individuals with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to tasks, ensuring high-quality production.

Responsibilities

+ Operate production lines efficiently.

+ Push carts of product and move materials around the facility.

+ Perform lifting and labor tasks with high attention to detail.

+ Demonstrate a high level of initiative and attendance.

+ Operate and assist with crane operations.

+ Move and organize large metal coils.

+ Conduct quality checks on Toyota fuel lids.

+ Perform general production tasks and ensure products meet standards.

+ Act as a liaison between production and shipping, double-check products, and help build pallets based on customer orders.

+ Demonstrate leadership qualities and work effectively with a team.

+ Monitor productivity and quality.

+ Set up and adjust machinery settings.

+ Troubleshoot mechanical issues.

+ Audit and monitor quality requirements in accordance with company policies.

+ Follow QA Inspection Process and Inspection Standards.

+ Initiate Non-Conformance reports and document inspection findings.

+ Perform visual inspection of raw materials and components.

+ Perform calibration and maintenance on inspection equipment.

+ Conduct coil inspection process using check fixtures, calipers, torque wrenches, gauge calibration, height gauge measurements, radius measurements, and slot measurement.

Essential Skills

+ Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience.

+ Material handling and assembly skills.

+ Order selecting, inventory, picking, pallet jack, packing, and loading experience.

+ General labor capabilities.

+ Ability to stand on feet for 10+ hours a day.

+ Capability to lift 30+ lbs repeatedly.

+ Experience in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in a production facility or warehouse is preferred.

+ Ability to lift over the head repeatedly.

+ Interpret and understand work instructions.

+ Complete necessary paperwork related to the position.

+ Open to other job duties, including machine operating as requested.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Antonio, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.22/hr.
