    Position: Machine Builder

    Overview:

    We’re looking for a detail-oriented and mechanically skilled Machine Builder with at least 2 years of hands-on experience in machine manufacturing. The ideal candidate is confident using hand tools, excels at problem-solving, and communicates effectively in a team environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Assemble machinery and equipment by interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and bills of materials.

    + Maintain organized workstations and manage inventory.

    + Conduct quality inspections and address any defects or issues.

    + Perform rework or repairs based on engineering feedback.

    + Follow all safety protocols and quality standards.

    + Install components such as grease lines, air lines, sheet metal guards, switches, and pneumatics.

    + Carry out drilling and tapping operations as needed.

    + Assist with machine shipping and post-assembly troubleshooting.

    + Participate in on-site installations and modifications (approx. 20% travel; negotiable).

    Required Skills & Qualifications:

    + Minimum 2 years of experience in machine building or mechanical assembly.

    + Proficient in reading blueprints and using hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers).

    + Familiarity with electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting.

    + Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive tasks.

    + High School diploma or GED required; technical certification is a plus.

    + Basic computer skills, including email and Microsoft Office.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Certification in machine building or a related technical field.

    + Basic electrical assembly experience.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
