Job Title: Soldering Technician
Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Soldering Technicianto join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for performing precision soldering on electronic components and assemblies, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
+ Perform hand soldering of electronic components on PCBs and assemblies.
+ Inspect solder joints for quality and compliance with IPC standards.
+ Conduct post-assembly checks to verify product specifications.
+ Use computer systems to log data and confirm quality control metrics.
+ Identify and document any defects or discrepancies in soldered products.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in soldering techniques (through-hole and/or surface mount).
+ Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus.
+ Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
+ Basic computer skills for data entry and quality tracking.
Work Environment
You’ll work in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment where precision and consistency are key. This role requires a high level of focus and the ability to work with small components and tools.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
