Job Title: Clinical Research Coordinator
Job Description
The Clinical Research Coordinator serves as a vital resource for physician investigators and the scientific review committee regarding protocol specifics. This role involves interfacing with research sponsors and participating in on-site qualification and monitoring visits.
Responsibilities
+ Act as a clinical research resource for protocol specifics to physician investigators and the scientific review committee.
+ Interface with research sponsors and participate in on-site qualification and monitoring visits.
+ Manage eCRFs and reporting, including addressing queries and handling adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
+ Direct and oversee daily activities of research protocols, including screening patients for protocol eligibility requirements.
+ Determine data requirements as specified by each individual research protocol.
+ Randomize patients appropriately and develop treatment plans according to specified protocols.
+ Collect appropriate data from physician offices and patient charts.
+ Ensure adequate documentation of all protocol-related parameters.
Essential Skills
+ Chart review experience.
+ Ability to pre-screen patients and recruit them for studies.
+ Skill in screening patient records in EMR to check eligibility for current and future research studies.
+ Experience supporting data entry or query resolution.
Work Environment
The work environment consists of a small team where the coordinator will be the main point of contact for Cardiology studies currently open, with the potential for two additional studies coming soon.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
