Certified Compounding Pharmacy Technician
Are you a detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician with a passion for precision and patient care? Join us at the ground level of an exciting new pharmacy start-up in Ohio! We’re building something special—and we’re looking for a skilled compounding technician to help shape our future.
What You’ll Do
As a key member of our founding team, you’ll play a hands-on role in creating high-quality compounded medications in a sterile environment. Your responsibilities will include:
+ Preparing IV and other pharmaceutical compounds using sterile techniques.
+ Following USP-797 standards and all federal/state regulations to ensure safety and compliance.
+ Performing environmental monitoring, sanitation, and testing procedures.
+ Managing inventory: purchasing, receiving, stocking, and tracking medications.
+ Updating patient profiles with medication lists and lab results in CPR+.
+ Maintaining cleanroom and ante-room cleanliness and logs.
+ Verifying lot numbers and ensuring inventory accuracy.
+ Participating in on-call support as needed.
+ Completing competency assessments upon hire and annually.
What You Bring
+ Certification: Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
+ Experience: In clinical or compounding pharmacy settings.
+ Knowledge: Strong understanding of sterile compounding and USP-797 guidelines.
+ Skills: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Integrity: Commitment to confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.
