Job Title: Test Technician
Job Description
The Test Technician will play a crucial role in testing and inspecting ceramic and crystal parts based on various parameters. This position involves both technical testing and physical inspection, with a balance between repetitive and novel tasks.
Responsibilities
+ Conducting Tests: Performing various tests on materials, components, and systems to ensure they meet specified standards and requirements.
+ Data Collection and Analysis: Collecting data during tests and analyzing the results to identify any issues or areas for improvement.
+ Equipment Maintenance: Maintaining and calibrating testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
+ Documentation: Recording test procedures, results, and any deviations from expected outcomes. Preparing detailed reports for review by engineers and management.
+ Collaboration: Working closely with engineers and other team members to develop and refine testing procedures and protocols.
+ Problem-Solving: Identifying and troubleshooting issues that arise during testing and suggesting solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
+ Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in manufacturing, testing, and inspection processes.
+ Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.
+ Ability to work independently on a computer.
+ Experience using microscopes for part inspection.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Training will be provided to enhance skills and knowledge.
+ Previous experience in a similar manufacturing role is beneficial.
Work Environment
The work environment is clean, dust-controlled, and temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort and safety. The role requires being seated for most of the day in a manufacturing setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
