    Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Industrial maintenance technicians, also known as industrial machinery mechanics or millwrights, install, repair, and maintain industrial machinery in buildings, plants, or manufacturing settings. Their job is to ensure that all machines are functioning properly and to limit production delays.

     

    **Schedule:** First shift starting at 7am

    **Pay:** 18 to 25/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Read technical manuals to understand equipment and controls.

    + Disassemble machinery and equipment when there's a problem.

    + Repair or replace broken or malfunctioning components.

    + Run initial batches and perform tests to ensure the machine is running smoothly.

    + Perform basic diagnostic tests to identify minor problems.

    + Adjust and calibrate equipment to optimal specifications.

    + Clean and lubricate equipment or machinery.

    + Troubleshoot and maintain engines, conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, and hydraulic equipment.

    + Document maintenance operations in line with relevant requirements.

    + Work with facility managers to regularly update the production process and software.

    Essential Skills

    + Mechanical expertise

    + Electrical knowledge

    + Troubleshooting skills

    + Experience as a maintenance technician

    + Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics

    + Experience with electric motors

    + Installation skills

    + Preventive maintenance experience

    + Service-oriented skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Ability to read and understand technical manuals

    + Proficiency in disassembling and repairing machinery

    + Capability to perform diagnostic tests and detect problems

    + Skills in adjusting, calibrating, cleaning, and lubricating equipment

    + Experience in maintaining engines, conveyors, and other equipment

    + Competence in documenting maintenance operations

    + Collaboration with facility managers for process updates

    Pay and Benefits
