    Job Title: Quality Control Manager

    Job Description

    This role involves supporting the construction of a new manufacturing plant by overseeing the work of the mechanical contractor on site. The Quality Control Manager (QCM) will ensure quality procedures are adhered to and compliance with project specifications is maintained.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain full on-site presence during construction to oversee quality procedures and ensure compliance with project specifications.

    + Conduct 4-6 daily inspections and maintain detailed logs in Procore of inspections, identified hazards, recommended actions, and correction status.

    + Submit daily reports and communicate with the day shift QCM via email.

    + Capture and document site observations with photographs.

    + Read and interpret blueprints to verify accurate construction.

    + Implement the three phases of control: Preparatory, Initial, and Follow Up.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with projects valued at $500 million and above.

    + Proven track record overseeing subcontractors with 150+ manpower on site.

    + 5+ years of experience as a Quality Control Manager on commercial construction sites.

    + MEP specific experience in a QCM role with a focus on mechanical and plumbing.

    + USACE CQCM Certification.

    + Proficiency in using Procore.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Reliable transportation.

    + Safety experience is advantageous.

    + QCQM certification is preferred.

    The facility is located in Aurora and is dedicated to manufacturing. This $600 million dollar project operates on a 2nd shift from 5pm to 3am and a day shift from 5am to 3pm.

    This is a Contract position based out of Aurora, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $50.00/hr.
