    Job Description

    We have current openings for day shift Assemblers (Operators) involved in the general manufacturing and mechanical assembly of motorcycle parts. Candidates should be prepared to work mandatory shift extensions or on scheduled days off as needed. The role requires the use of hand tools in a production environment, following assembly instructions and performing repetitive tasks. Assemblers will use RF Scan guns to track products throughout the assembly process, working on components such as saddlebags, handlebars, inner fairings, mirrors, and wheels/tires.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical assembly of motorcycle parts.

    + Follow detailed assembly instructions and perform repetitive tasks.

    + Utilize hand tools efficiently in a production environment.

    + Use RF Scan guns to scan products throughout the assembly process.

    + Work mandatory shift extensions or scheduled days off as required.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with hand tools and mechanical assembly.

    + Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

    + Comfort with standing for up to 10 hours or more during the workday.

    + Willingness to learn and utilize RF Scan guns.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Assemblers will work in designated cells (work areas) completing sub-assembly of parts while standing for the duration of their shift. The environment is fast-paced, requiring repetitive tasks. The facility is not climate-controlled, so it can be warm in the summer and cold in the winter, particularly near dock doors. Workers are expected to adhere to a regular dress code with no offensive clothing and wear provided safety glasses. Open-toed shoes are not allowed. As this is a union environment, candidates will be expected to pay union dues once they become full-time employees.

    This is a Contract position based out of York, Pennsylvania.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $15.75/hr.
