Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician who will be responsible for ensuring the functionality and safety of our facilities through regular maintenance and repair tasks. This role requires a proactive individual capable of working with various systems and equipment to maintain operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
+ Adjust time clocks and perform fire extinguisher inspections in all buildings.
+ Maintain and repair furniture and fixtures throughout all facilities.
+ Conduct preventive maintenance as required to ensure smooth operations.
+ Assist in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC tasks for installations of new equipment and relocation of existing machinery.
+ Perform routine HVAC maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
+ Supply necessary electrical and air drops where needed.
+ Assist with equipment maintenance on plant machinery whenever possible.
+ Perform maintenance and repair work on company vehicles as needed.
+ Participate in future projects, which may include building new facilities, plumbing, telecommunications, equipment relocation, and janitorial services.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
+ Proficiency in electrical, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and HVAC systems.
+ Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Skills in industrial and electrical maintenance and repair.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and carpentry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in industrial maintenance and installation.
+ Knowledge of electrical maintenance and PLC control systems.
+ Export Controls compliance is required.

Work Environment
The work environment is climate-controlled, allowing for comfort in various weather conditions. The role requires the ability to stand or sit, offering flexibility during tasks. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7 AM onwards.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rochester, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.21 - $28.81/hr.
