    Job Title: Maintenance Technician III

    Job Description

    We are looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician III to perform maintenance on a new blasting machine. This role involves ensuring the operational efficiency of production and processing equipment, as well as utility-related equipment, while adhering to safety procedures.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform preventative maintenance and repairs of production and processing equipment, following all safety procedures.

    + Support the installation of new equipment.

    + Assist machine operators with training and troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.

    + Document all repairs in the system, maintaining teamwork consistent with the company's Mission, Vision, and Core Values.

    + Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems, and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.

    + Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures, including the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program, and hearing and eye protection policies.

    + Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

    Essential Skills

    + 2+ years of working experience as a Maintenance Technician in any industry.

    + Mechanical experience with belts, gears, bearings, motors, VFD, and sensors.

    + Experience with basic electrical troubleshooting and repairs.

    + Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and tolerate variable climates.

    + Welding, cutting, or fabrication experience.

    + PLC knowledge.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Associate's Degree in Electrical-Mechanical or Industrial Mechanics.

    + Knowledge of PLCs, CMMS, and Microsoft Office.

    Work Environment

     

    The position offers multiple shift options including 1st, 3rd, and weekend shifts, each with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. The work environment involves maintaining equipment like benders, lasers, pipe plasmas, welding machines, forklifts, paint booths, blasters, conveyors, and CNC maintenance. The plant is planning a move to Schertz, TX within the next year, providing an opportunity to work closer to the San Antonio area.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Shiner, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $58240.00/yr.
