Job Title: Injection Mold Operator

Job Description

Injection Mold Operators will support the injection mold process by ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and the quality of the final product.

Responsibilities

+ Load polymer resin into the machine.

+ Monitor the process alongside the Injection Mold Technician.

+ Offload completed helmets from the machine.

+ Punch out and scrape excess plastic from the ear holes and top holes of the helmet using specific provided tools.

+ Ensure quality with a quick visual inspection and report any issues to the Mold Technician.

Essential Skills

+ Machine operation experience.

+ Ability to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.

+ Steel Toe or Composite Toe Shoes.

+ Previous manufacturing experience, ideally around a machine.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Plastics or injection mold experience.

+ Additional machine operation experience.

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment that, while not temperature-controlled, remains cool with the aid of overhead fans. The standard shift is from 7am to 3:30pm, with overtime available as needed. Occasionally, shifts may begin at 6am and include Saturdays and possibly Sundays during busy periods, typically totaling 40 hours a week.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainfield, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
