Job Title: Rental Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy supervisor to oversee operations at IND Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, managing the performance of Onsite Agents, and escalating system or operational issues to the support team.
Responsibilities
+ Serve as the primary contact for Onsite Agents, ensuring task completion and efficiency.
+ Ensure proper usage of the vehicle scanning system and accurate condition report processing.
+ Monitor team performance and adherence to scheduled meal and break times.
+ Provide ongoing training and support to team members on customer interactions, the system, and vehicle inspection procedures.
+ Escalate system-related issues to the support team and resolve operational challenges promptly.
+ Onboard and train new Onsite Agents.
+ Communicate with team members via Slack and email, providing clear guidance and updates.
+ Assist customers with reviewing digital condition reports on iPads, ensuring a seamless experience.
+ Address customer inquiries or concerns and collaborate with agents to resolve discrepancies or vehicle-related issues.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols at all times.
+ Direct traffic through the scanning lane to maintain a smooth process.
+ Ensure each vehicle is properly scanned using the system.
+ Greet and confidently approach customers as they return vehicles.
+ Help customers review and acknowledge digital condition reports on an iPad.
+ Show customers any identified vehicle damage upon request.
+ Train agents on the scanning and reporting process.
+ Report any system issues or incidents to the designated team lead or supervisor.
+ Compare the condition report to the actual vehicle condition and document discrepancies.
Essential Skills
+ Customer service experience (minimum 2 years preferred)
+ Strong communication skills
+ Proficiency in computer skills
+ Friendly and energetic demeanor
+ Ability to stand for long periods and perform vehicle inspections
+ Professional appearance at all times
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in customer service, retail management, or similar roles
+ Willingness to approach customers confidently
+ Physical ability to direct traffic, bend, and lift

Work Environment
This role is based at IND Airport in a large parking garage, involving standing and working outdoors in a covered area for extended periods. Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required to ensure smooth operations across shifts. The first shift is from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM with some flexibility based on rental volume.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
