Position Overview:
We are seeking a **Physician Assistant (PA)** to join our **Cardiovascular and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS) team** at our **Dallas Heart and Vascular Hospital** . This role offers a **flexible schedule** (30-40 hours per week) and an exciting mix of **outpatient and inpatient care** , with some **OR expectations** . You will be responsible for managing cardiovascular follow-up patients and supporting procedures related to **Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)** .
This is a unique opportunity for someone passionate about cardiovascular care who seeks the balance of patient interaction and surgical support, all without the expectation of call or weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Provide **comprehensive care** for patients with **Cardiovascular conditions** and **Thoracic Outlet Syndrome (TOS)** , including pre- and post-operative care.
+ Perform **clinical evaluations** and follow-ups in both **outpatient** and **inpatient** settings.
+ Collaborate closely with attending physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to manage **patient care** .
+ Assist in **OR settings** during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and effective care.
+ Maintain **patient documentation** , including clinical notes, histories, and treatment plans.
+ Educate patients and families on **disease prevention** , **treatment options** , and **lifestyle management** .

QUALIFICATIONS
+ EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
+ EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION
+ Basic Life Support (BLS): Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
+ Physician Assistants (PA): Must have a PA license through the state of TX.
