Minimum Qualifications
Three years of experience in administrative services, housing management, real estate, or social services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will substitute for one year of the required experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
75%
Leads Housing Specialist staff in Public Housing by providing guidance and support
Oversees overall collection of tenant payments in office, by mail and contacts banks to get updated payments made by tenants
Monitors and input tenant work orders and follow up with tenants to make sure the work order is completed in a timely manner
Engages with applicants to complete applications
Serves as a coordinator making sure the tenants are notified of any events in the community
Oversees tenant eligibility determinations, and also at annual re-certifications to assure rent calculations is accurate
Coordinates with the maintenance tech and tenant to inspect units at annual reexaminations and move out
Prepares move-out disposition after units have been inspected
Prepares reports and data analysis for program audits

Function/Works independently preparing delinquency reports and close out reports for the month
Conducts meeting with tenants to go over policy, lease and house rules at move-in
Conducts criminal background check on perspective applicants
Prepare and submit all move-ins, reexaminations and interim to LHC for further review
Responds to complex tenant issues that require escalation or high-level problem solving
