Compensation Range
Hourly: $34.05 - $45.45 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to develop and manage customer profitability reporting, internal pricing models, financial modeling and forecasting, and ad hoc reporting. This role will be positioned within the Commercial Payments Data Analytics team and will work with various stakeholders including Senior Leaders, Account Management, Sales, Data Analytics/Operations, Financial Planning and Analysis, and internal Incentive and Compensation teams.
Essential Functions
+ Assist with the design and implementation of new customer profitability processes to support product launches and ensure alignment with product revenue and cost structures
+ Develop and track reporting and key operational metrics to evaluate the accuracy and effectiveness of both current and future customer profitability processes
+ Maintain and enhance existing department product pricing models and develop new pricing models supporting future product releases
+ Interact with Sales and Account Management leaders to aid in their understanding of customer profitability and internal pricing models
+ Assist with validating pricing models by comparing them against actual customer profitability outcomes to ensure accuracy and relevance
+ Assist with financial forecasting, reporting, and operational performance tracking to support strategic decision-making
+ Regularly meet with business line leaders to gain in depth understanding of product functionality, revenue generation, and cost structures
+ Execute accurate and timely monthly processes supporting internal management and incentive reporting requirements
+ Identify and implement process improvements, including but not limited to the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports and implementing solutions spanning across multiple teams within the organization
+ Analyze past results and perform variance analysis identify trends and anomalies
+ Clearly communicate analytical findings and strategic recommendations to stakeholders at various leadership levels within the organization
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
+ Basic knowledge of financial statements
+ Proficient in financial modeling and conduct detailed profitability analysis
+ Process mind with the ability to research and document current processes and systems
+ Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to break down processes and financial statements
+ Basic understanding of relational databases and extracting data from a data warehouse
+ Problem-solving capabilities with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and errors and implementing effective solutions
+ Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
+ Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
+ Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Microsoft Access, VBA, SQL and Outlook
Education & Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
+ 1+ years’ experience in finance, data analytics, mathematics or other financial related field required
+ 1+ years’ experience managing or working with relational databases required
+ Knowledge/Experience using BI tools such as Power BI/Tableau preferred
+ Knowledge/experience working in Commercial Banking preferred
*Hybrid Schedule: In office 1 day per week

At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $34.05 to $45.45 per hour.
