    Job Title: Construction Project Manager

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee projects involving the replacement and repair of mechanical equipment, energy optimization, and equipment upgrades. The role includes managing lighting replacements on K-12 and higher education campuses, as well as general construction tasks on building seams, windows, and seals.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

    + Monitor and track project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion.

    + Lead and manage a team of construction professionals, including subcontractors, engineers, and laborers.

    + Provide guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals.

    + Ensure all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.

    + Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to maintain high standards of workmanship.

    + Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns.

    + Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.

    + Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.

    + Prepare and present financial reports to upper management.

    + Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.

    Essential Skills

    + 5+ years experience as a construction Project Manager with General Contractor (GC) or Construction Manager (CM).

    + Mechanical controls experience is highly preferred.

    + CM or engineering degree is highly preferred.

    + Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements on active job sites for 5 years.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience and understanding of mechanical systems, both underground and above ground with a focus on boilers and chillers.

     

    Work Environment

     

    Most work will be conducted in an office setting, with occasional travel required.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
