    Job Description:

    The **Brand Marketing Principal Software Engineer – Mobile & Cloud Platforms** is responsible for guiding the architecture, planning, and implementation of our customer-facing mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, and backend systems. This individual will work across technical domains to ensure a scalable and cohesive technology foundation that supports application growth, IoT integrations, and marketing technology utilities. The ideal candidate will be a high-performing contributor who brings both hands-on technical depth and the judgment to drive engineering decisions aligned with long-term product goals. This role requires strong communication skills, particularly when navigating technical feasibility with non-technical stakeholders.

    Work Performed

    + Lead architectural design and development of mobile backend infrastructure, marketing utilities, and cloud services·

    + Define and enforce code quality standards, development best practices, and peer review protocols·

    + Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and roadmaps·

    + Evaluate, integrate, and maintain third-party platforms and APIs to support application and campaign functionality·

    + Guide BLE and IoT system integrations with mobile applications and backend telemetry support·

    + Drive planning and coordination across a cross-functional team of mobile, backend, and DevOps engineers·

    + Lead the design of MarTech utilities and data activations, ensuring alignment with marketing and customer experience goals

    Job Requirements

    + Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems (or related field), or equivalent years of work experience

    + Minimum 5 years of software development experience, including leadership over cross-functional technical teams

    + Demonstrated proficiency in Python, GCP, and backend system design

    + Experience with mobile development ecosystems (Kotlin, Swift) and related backend support

    + Proven ability to research and integrate third-party APIs and platforms without dependency on external consultants

    + Familiarity with BLE communication protocols and IoT infrastructure development

    + Bonus: foundational knowledge in ERP mechanics, MDM strategies, and structured data systems

    + Excellent communication, organizational, and planning skills

    + Strong aptitude for independent problem-solving and team mentorship
