Job Description:

The **Brand Marketing Android Application Engineer** is responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our Android mobile applications. This role focuses on implementing intuitive user interfaces, supporting BLE-connected features, and ensuring the application remains responsive, secure, and visually consistent. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative in transforming concepts into robust, performant code while collaborating closely with the iOS Engineer and broader engineering team.

Work Performed

+ Develop and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose

+ Integrate BLE hardware support and manage IoT-related functionality

+ Work with product and design teams to implement features aligned with user needs

+ Maintain cross-platform consistency and code quality standards

+ Evaluate and integrate Android SDK updates, platform features, and performance optimizations

+ Support release processes and coordinate QA, monitoring, and bug fixes

+ Collaborate with backend and infrastructure engineers to ensure seamless integration

Job Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent years of work experience

+ 3+ years of experience in Android development using Kotlin

+ Strong understanding of Jetpack Compose and Kotlin Coroutines

+ Experience with BLE integrations and IoT application features

+ Skilled in designing and building modern Android UI components

+ Bonus: Experience with Firebase, Python, or CI/CD workflows

+ Strong communication, critical thinking, and collaboration skills
