Job Title: Industrial Painter

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying industrial coatings to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our stringent standards. This role requires minimal training, as the candidate should already possess the necessary skills and experience.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers.

+ Apply industrial coatings using spray equipment.

+ Ensure uniform application and adherence to specifications.

+ Inspect finished surfaces for quality and touch up as needed.

+ Maintain and clean painting equipment.

+ Follow safety protocols.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience as an industrial painter.

+ Proficiency in using spray equipment.

+ Knowledge of various industrial coatings and their applications.

+ Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong understanding of safety procedures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in industrial painting, paint preparation, sanding, and blasting.

+ Familiarity with working in a production environment, particularly in oil and gas industries.

+ Knowledge of paint booths and heat exchangers.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing shop with working hours from Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
