Job Title: Production Technician

Job Description

In this role as a Production Technician, you will handle powders and liquids weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring the correct percentage is used in the manufacturing process. Quick math skills are crucial for determining the right amounts needed.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and adjust mixing machines, scales, control boxes, and other equipment.

+ Grab and mix powders and liquids accurately using quick math skills.

+ Continuously lift items weighing up to 50 lbs and ensure proper handling of materials.

+ Maintain an organized work environment.

+ Work collaboratively with a team on the production floor.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in a production and manufacturing environment.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

+ Proficient math skills, including addition, subtraction, and percentages.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ Mechanically inclined with 5+ years of experience in a similar environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Goal-oriented and driven personality.

+ Willingness to grow and be trainable.

Work Environment

Work on a production floor with approximately 10 colleagues. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, including a 45-minute lunch break. The dress code is relaxed, allowing for clean jeans, T-shirts, and sneakers, with specific restrictions for safety. Clean disposable lab coats and booties are provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Valley Cottage, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
