Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

**Shift** : 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm M-F

**Pay** : Based off experience $30-35.00 per hour starting

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The position is for the 1st shift schedule. The role offers a competitive hourly rate of a range of $30-$35.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Responsibilities

+ Perform industrial maintenance tasks with a focus on mechanical troubleshooting, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

+ Working around machines including blending & mixing machines, filling and transferring machines, packaging equipment, and conveyers.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to diagnose and repair equipment.

+ Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery.

+ Collaborate with team members to solve complex mechanical issues and implement solutions.

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.

+ Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting.

+ Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Electrical troubleshooting skills, particularly in low voltage circuits.

+ Knowledge of sensors, actuators, PLCs, robotics, and automation.

This position based out of Waukegan, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
