    Job Title: Metal Finisher

     

    Schedule: Monday- Thursday 5am- 3:30pm

     

    Pay: $18-19/hr

    Job Description

    We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Metal Finishers in a sheet metal shop environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in sanding, grinding, and metal finishing, with a clear path to progress into a highly skilled grinder role.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the sheet metal shop by performing tasks such as lifting, sanding, and grinding.

    + Operate hand and power tools to finish metal surfaces.

    + Prepare materials for finishing processes and maintain the workspace.

    + Develop skills to transition into a highly skilled grinder position.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in labor, manufacturing, and production.

    + Proficiency in sanding, grinding, and metal finishing.

    + Ability to work with sheet metal and fabricate sheet metal products.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must possess steel-toed boots.

    + Familiarity with hand and power tools used in metal fabrication.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large, local sheet metal shop. This area of the shop is known for being dirtier, but it offers a collaborative atmosphere where employees are encouraged to stay and grow within the company.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Salt Lake, Utah.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00/hr.
