Job Title: Diesel Technician- up to $28/hr

Job Description

Join our team as a Diesel Technician, where you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing issues on semi-trucks. Your expertise will ensure vehicle systems like suspensions, steering, and exhausts are in optimal condition. You will also fix or replace parts such as lights, brakes, air systems, tires, and electrical components, and perform routine oil changes. Detailed record-keeping of parts and services is an essential part of this role.

Responsibilities

+ Diagnose and repair issues on semi-trucks.

+ Inspect vehicle systems including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.

+ Fix or replace parts such as lights, brakes, air systems, tires, and electrical components.

+ Perform oil changes.

+ Maintain detailed records of parts and services.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in diesel troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

+ Proficiency with diesel engines.

+ Capability in welding and fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must have experience with preventative maintenance.

+ Experience with changing lights, brakes, and oil changes on diesel trucks.

+ Troubleshooting engines is a plus.

+ Familiarity with decals.

+ Skills in welding and fabrication are advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a supportive and family-oriented setting on a 1st shift schedule from 7 AM to 7 PM. Choose between two flexible schedules: work Monday and Tuesday one week, then Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday the next week, or work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday one week, then Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the next week. This role is based in our Warren location, part of a network of four shops across the US. Join us to work on semi-trucks, rolloffs, installations, and tailgates.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
