Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. You will ensure an understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

+ Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials for flavor production.

+ Ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role.

+ Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.

+ Match ingredients to shop orders using computer systems, scan guns, or other tools.

+ Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during production.

+ Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.

+ Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, swabbing of equipment, and follow policies.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of manufacturing or production experience, ideally in a pharmaceutical, food, or nutraceutical environment.

+ Knowledge of machine operating and production.

+ Strong emphasis on safety procedures.

+ Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math skills, including ratios and weighing of products.

+ Knowledge of FDA and GMP regulations.

+ Ability to follow procedures and directions to properly identify products and follow formulas.

+ Ability to read, write, and understand English.

+ Ability to lift 50-75+ lbs regularly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

+ Production, compounding, sanitizing, manufacturing processes, blending, mixing, GMP, FDA, material handling, and spray equipment skills.

Work Environment

The role is based in a flavor and fragrances manufacturing company known for creating sweet flavors such as strawberry, root beer, and peanut butter. The facility operates from 5am to 1:30pm. With only 15 people currently employed, you should be able to work independently and take initiative.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rancho Cucamonga, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
