Hiring Production Workers / Assembler in Beavertown, Pa!

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. The role requires reliability, the ability to stand for an entire shift, and the capacity to work effectively within a team setting. As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for inspecting wood for defects and marking them accordingly, as well as stacking lumber from the production line.

Responsibilities

+ Inspect wood for defects and mark them with a marker.

+ Stack lumber from the production line and group them with similar wood.

+ Work in either Lumber Stacking, which is physically demanding, or in Inspection, which requires attention to detail.

Essential Skills

+ Reliability and punctuality.

+ Ability to stand and lift up to 50 lbs for 8-12 hours a day.

+ Teamwork and collaboration.

+ Attention to detail in inspection tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in production, warehouse, or manufacturing environments.

+ Ability to work overtime, including Saturdays.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a fast-paced manufacturing setting, where team collaboration on production lines is essential. Dress code includes t-shirts, jeans, and steel toe boots. Shift hours vary depending on the department, with some shifts starting as early as 6:00 AM and ending as late as 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Beavertown, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
