Temporary Warehouse Lead

Job Description

As a Warehouse Lead, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the shipping and receiving processes, ensuring efficient order fulfillment, and managing warehouse inventory. You will handle various tasks including material handling and packaging within a dynamic start up manufacturing warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

+ Oversee shipping and receiving operations.

+ Ensure efficient order fulfillment processes.

+ Operate forklifts and RF scanners for inventory control.

+ Manage warehouse inventory and conduct cycle counts.

+ Handle FedEx and UPS shipments, including unloading and loading.

+ Perform material handling and packaging tasks.

+ Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.

+ Perform miscellaneous tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in operating forklifts and pallet jacks.

+ Experience with RF scanners and order pulling.

+ Knowledge of inventory control and cycle counting.

+ Competence in shipping and receiving processes.

+ Ability to use WMS and ERP software effectively.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Self-starter with minimal supervision required.

+ Capability to fulfill tasks efficiently and independently.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Long Beach, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
