Job Description
Join our team as a Food Service Worker, where you will play a vital role in a bustling hospital kitchen. You will be part of a dynamic environment that serves over 700 guests daily. Your experience in a fast-paced restaurant setting will be invaluable as you work independently and follow directions effectively.
Responsibilities
+ Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area.
+ Stock food supplies efficiently.
+ Slice and dice food items as needed.
+ Service the dining area to ensure a pleasant experience for guests.
Essential Skills
+ 1.5+ years of experience in the food service industry.
+ Ability to maintain job tenure of 1.5+ years at previous employers.
+ Capability to lift 50lbs and push 100lbs.
+ Strong customer service orientation with professionalism suitable for a hospital setting.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in food preparation and cleaning.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment
Work in a hospital cafeteria where appearance and hygiene are crucial. Adhere to a professional dress code with no facial piercings and covered tattoos. Refrain from using heavy fragrances. The role requires working either the 6:30 AM to 3 PM shift or the 12:30 PM to 9 PM shift, with a rotating schedule that includes working every other weekend.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr.
