Job Title: Metal Fabricator (Brake Press and Weld)

Job Description

Join our team as a Metal Fabricator specializing in Brake Press operations and welding. This first-shift position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, focusing on bending and fabricating metal products with precision.

Responsibilities

+ Set up and operate Brake Press and other shop machinery to bend and fabricate metal.

+ Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.

+ Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to maintain tolerance and quality.

Essential Skills

+ 3+ years of experience operating brake presses.

+ Comprehensive knowledge of metal bending and fabrication.

+ Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting material specifications.

+ Experience with shop tools and saws.

+ Strong attention to detail.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Welding skills are a plus.

+ Exceptional conceptual, functional, and technical skills.

+ Excellent verbal communication abilities.

+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

+ Commitment to safety in all workplace actions.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, well-lit, and organized wood shop environment. The position operates on the first shift from 6:30am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, with rare Saturday work. Enjoy a clean, safe, and team-oriented atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Canton, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
