Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shipping and Receiving Clerk to run daily shipping and receiving operations. This role involves monitoring the shipping queue in M2M, printing packing lists, assigning orders to the team for picking and packing, and organizing freight shipments. Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping is crucial, along with good computer and communication skills. This position will serve as a backup to our lead person in the area, providing support when needed.

1st shift: 6am to 2:30pm

Responsibilities

+ Monitor shipping queue in M2M and print pack lists.

+ Assign orders to the team for picking and packing.

+ Organize freight shipments efficiently.

+ Serve as a backup to the lead person in the shipping and receiving area.

+ Ensure efficient and quality standards are met regularly.

+ Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

+ Follow work assignments, directions, and instructions provided by the Production Lead.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping.

+ Proficient computer skills.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Familiarity with SAP systems.

+ Experience with forklift operations.

+ Ability to follow safety requirements and policies.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiar with wire gauges (AWG).

+ Understanding of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors used in wire harness fabrication.

+ Ability to review assembly instructions and engineering drawings.

+ Proficiency in using hand crimpers for creating discrete wires and harnesses.

+ Experience in assembling electronic subassemblies.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Costa Mesa, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
