Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking multiple talented Mechanical Engineers to join our team in Columbus. The role focuses on conducting quality control on construction and fabrication drawings within the fabrication shop of a mechanical contractor. This is an excellent opportunity for entry-level engineers to gain experience working on healthcare, education, data centers, and large commercial projects.
Responsibilities
+ Review shop drawings in the fabrication shop to ensure mechanical systems, including plumbing and HVAC, are fabricated, built, and assembled correctly.
+ Inspect mechanical and plumbing systems in the fabrication shops before they are shipped to client job sites.
+ Conduct audits to ensure compliance with design specifications.
+ Collaborate with the fabrication team to provide guidance on correctly building HVAC or mechanical systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
+ Associate or Bachelor, Mechanical Engineering degree.
+ Understanding of fabrication drawings.
+ Interest in working for a mechanical contractor and in a fabrication shop.
Work Environment
This position is on-site, operating Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. The work environment provides a collaborative atmosphere in the fabrication shop, with opportunities to work on diverse and impactful projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
