Job Title: Genetic CounselorJob Description

This position involves providing remote infertility-related genetic counseling for Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) practices with offices across the United States. The role includes counseling sessions on test results delivery, specifically around Cell Free DNA Testing and Carrier Testing. The individual will serve as a genetic counseling resource for reproductive specialists, supporting a diverse patient population, while backed by a large team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists. Additionally, the counselor will have the ability to identify and implement processes to enhance the patient experience and will participate in educational and research initiatives.

Responsibilities

+ Conduct remote genetic counseling sessions for infertility-related issues.

+ Deliver test results and provide counseling on Cell Free DNA Testing and Carrier Testing.

+ Serve as a genetic counseling resource for reproductive specialists.

+ Support a diverse population of patients.

+ Identify and implement processes to improve patient experience.

+ Participate in educational and research initiatives.

Essential Skills

+ Expertise in reproduction and genetics.

+ Experience as a genetic counselor specializing in infertility.

+ Proficiency in Cell Free DNA Testing and Carrier Testing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Master's degree in Human Genetics or Genetic Counseling.

+ ABGC/ABMG certification.

+ Preferred: 3+ years of genetic counseling experience.

+ Required: Related reproductive experience with Cell Free DNA Testing and Carrier Testing.

+ State License, multi-state preferred.

Work Environment

This position is remote, allowing flexibility and the ability to work from anywhere. The role is supported by a large team of genetic counselors and medical geneticists, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment. The counselor will have opportunities to participate in educational and research initiatives.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $52.88/hr.
