As a Survey CAD Project Manager, you will lead and manage construction layout and stakeout projects from inception to completion. You will oversee field crews, manage client relations, and ensure the precision and compliance of project specifications through detailed CAD designs.
Responsibilities
+ Manage field crews and client relations, ensuring seamless project execution.
+ Lead construction layout and stakeout projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
+ Generate precise stakeout data for construction layout.
+ Create detailed CAD drawings using Civil 3D for construction layout and stakeout purposes, including site plans, grading plans, and utility layouts.
+ Collaborate with surveyors, technicians, project coordinators, and support staff to maintain data accuracy and project timeliness.
+ Perform quality control checks on drawings and stakeout data to ensure compliance with industry standards.
+ Provide technical support and troubleshooting for CAD software and equipment.
+ Maintain comprehensive records of all project drawings, stakeout data, and related documentation.
Essential Skills
+ 5 years of experience in Construction Layout Projects with a heavy civil background .
+ Minimum of 2 years of Project Management experience, including cost estimates, proposals, and scheduling.
+ Proficiency in Civil 3D/AutoCAD, Drafting, and Land surveying.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3-5 years of experience as a Survey CAD Technician on Construction Layout projects.
+ Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
+ Knowledge of Leica Software for Total Stations and GPS.
Work Environment
The role is primarily office-based with hybrid flexibility, contingent upon the candidate's comfort and proficiency with processes. The office consists of about 30 employees, including a mix of surveyors, technicians, and administrative staff. The company prides itself on using state-of-the-art equipment, such as robotic and reflectorless total stations, and GPS receivers, to ensure precise results. Support for obtaining certifications and licensing is provided.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.27 - $55.29/hr.
