Eversource is looking for an Analyst located in Berlin, CT\. This individual is responsible for providing analytical support for the Eversource Gas Operator Qualification functions\. This could include participating on task forces, special studies, business cases, financial and economic analysis, cost benefit analysis, development and monitoring of metrics, etc\.

This position will report onsite\. Will be responsible for travel to Shrewsbury, MA and New Bedford, MA as business needs require\.

Essential Functions:

+ Analyzes processes and data and converts this into value added thinking and information\.

+ Identifies opportunities for process change or continuous improvement and facilitates the acceptance and implementation of the change\.

+ Understands information technology solutions and how they apply to business needs\.

+ Performs or assists in ad\-hoc querying and reporting as requested by Eversource management or personnel\.

+ Works with various departments throughout Training and the Gas Business analyzing data and processes\.

+ Develops reports, prepares, and delivers presentations, writes department procedures, and performs other activities as needed\.

+ Extracts and analyzes data to guide future scheduling methods and processes\.

+ Assists in the management of the OQ testing center by providing oversight and direction in the daily operation\.

+ Understands and enforces the standards set forth by the OQ Plan\.

+ Manages employee information and qualifications in the OQ database\.

+ Performs and implements special assignments as necessary\.

Qualifications:

_Technical Knowledge/Skill:_

+ Demonstrated analytical, problem\-solving, statistical and mathematical skills\.

+ Strong communication and interpersonal skills\.

+ Familiar with budgeting and accounting concepts\.

+ Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, charts and building functions, required\.

+ Familiarity with Microsoft Access, Word and Power Point, preferred\.

_Education:_

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or the equivalent in combined education and experience is required\.

_Experience_ :

+ A minimum of three \(3\) of years of related experience is required\.

_Licenses & Certifications:_

+ Valid Motor Vehicle License is required\.

Working Conditions:

_Th_ _is position is categorized as safety\-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing\. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing\._

+ Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required\.

+ Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary\.

+ Work will primarily be in an office setting\. Some travel to Eversource training facilities or work sites will be required\.
